Focus on the human energy and rural sporting culture rather than making it only an action-sports shoot. Look for kabaddi, wrestling, athletics, tug-of-war, cycling, hockey, traditional strength events, spectators and the relationship between athletes and the village community. The return of bullock-cart racing in 2026 also created strong documentary opportunities around the animals, handlers, preparation and crowd reactions. Fast shutter speeds are useful for action, but also look for slower, quieter moments around the arena.
